New Info on an old subject

For those who are still running Pentium 4 processors, and XP; Please read...
In setting up the latest server for CFS Battlefields, I used my old Dell XPS 3.2 P4 on Vista, instead of XP. I was concerned (at first) that I would run into the same issues XP & the P4 have with C4 and Hyper Threading sys dumps, but found that Vista doesn't have the dump issues.
I have been running Vista, with the Pentium HT on, to run the game and it's running very well...
Moral of the story.. If you are still using your P4, dump XP and load Vista. You'll be happy to use the HT settings you paid for..
