Hello
I have problem, my C4 wont run, when i am running c4.exe file nothin happen exept that in task manager i have c4.exe precess , c4lan.exe works however i have inactive game for single player.
I've updated my version with newest patch, read other advices in thaft forum regarding that problem but nothing works

is there any antivirus software or firewall running and prevent c4 running correct?
try this:
unplug the computer from the internet - means pull the modem cable or the network cable out of the computer. turn off firewall and antivirus, then give it a try.
before connecting again to the internet,
DONT FORGET TO RE-ACTIVATE FIREWALL!!!

hit start ,run,type sfc see if it finds anything.

Did you change drives lately.? Is the disk in?
Well yes i did a lot of things i found also nocd c4.exe file and effect is still the same (no effect- no game :ticking: ), the realy weird thing is that my cd player won't even try to read if orginal cd is present. I am not sure if it can be a reason but i have 2 dvd playens in my computer) , and no problems with other games like HL2, far cry etc.

Do the game types show as a darker color, unabled on the beginning game screen ?. C4 has a file that directs the game to the drive you installed off of. How ever if the fixed exe was installed rite it shouldn't matter. Have you tried a reinstale of the game.
Yep I've tried to reinstall game, many times, i can run c4lan.exe but single player option is disabled,

Try uninstalling the game reinstall in another folder not in program files. Befor instaling go to programs and delete the Nova Logic folder. Hope it helps

I have the same problem!
Make sure your desktop resolution is not the same as your game resolution. And, are you using hex keys in your pilot name? I couldnt get Single player to work once because of it. Does C4 boot to the main menu? Did it work before the updates?

This problem baffles me. I am a pretty resourceful guy when it comes to hardware/software issues. I don't give up, however I am getting increasingly frustrated.
Anyone have any clues?
I've recently(last week)loaded C4 back up on my comp. and everything works fine, I did the in game update , could it be that the downloadable update has been tampered with someway? Hope you get it to work anyway.
